The duplex filters consist of two similar filters housing wherein one is operational & the other one is standby. When one filter is clogged & is under maintenance, the flow is diverted to the other one. This enables zero breakdown operations.
At DME, depending on the flow rate & permissible pressure drop, expected filtered fluid quality, a filter is carefully designed. A filter media like bag, basket or cartridge is selected after considering the inlet fluid quality & its load.
